Growing up working at the jewelry store from the young age of 8, you could say I've had a lot of time looking at engagement rings! After Eddie and I had been together for 4 or 5 years we started the process of looking at diamonds and settings at my family store, Joint Venture Jewelry. I couldn't believe it was my turn after spending all those years helping others find their dream rings.
First, we found the diamond in our showcases, it was a beautiful 2.62 carat round brilliant but set in a chunky metal setting that was not my cup of tea. Eddie worked with my Mom, Donna, on the design process of selecting the setting. I wanted something super thin with a little extra sparkle, all leading up towards the center stone.
We found the mounting of my dreams with little bead set diamonds on all three sides, swooping up to my round brilliant, while also leaving room under the diamond for my future wedding band.
Engagement ring shopping is not easy, even when you're in the business! I'm so happy we were able to design the most beautiful ring and I can't want to wear the matching band when we get married on May 30, 2021!
